I cry tears for moments past and for those that will never be. My tears are not for me alone but for his best friend, family and so many who loved Jim which was so very easy to do. There will never be another love like the kind we shared with him.

It was three years ago today that you left this earlthy place. I choose not to dwell on how you left but revel in how you lived. You know what's in my heart, I don't need to write it all here, but thank you Jim for being you, for giving me the most indescribable love two people can share, and for leaving the legacy that is you with so many. You are missed and loved more than any words could possibly convey. I love you. Always will.

Happy Birthday My Jimmy.....I always tried to make it such a special occasion for you. You came to me in my dream last nite, we were together and I remember feeling ecstatically happy, I rolled over looked at your side of the bed and said "Happy Birthday Babe"....I opened my eyes, you weren't there. I know you're celebrating in Heaven. Everyone is raising a glass to you today. Hope your beer is cold and your music divine. Happy Birthday Babe.

Joe, I didn't know how to reach you but did make efforts to try. I think you said it best, there are no words. I miss Jim every moment of every day and try to focus on all the positive, amazing moments we shared. It helps to know how many truly loved Jim and that none of us are alone in this grief. I'm including my email if you'd like to get in touch, I'd love hearing from you. Peace and hugs, Lori (loridance463@aol.com)

I sense Jim already knows but wanted to share with everyone else. Some of Jim's ashes will be scattered at the L.A. Coliseum thanks to Walt and Kelly who are taking Jim there this week. I thought it a perfect idea when Walt asked me about it and just keep smiling in my heart knowing Jim will forever be on the field every time his beloved Trojans play. I love and miss you more than words can say Jim. I feel you around me so much and just wish I could physically be wrapped in your arms once again. I know you feel my love, that will never cease. It Is...always will be. Your Lors

Happy Fathers Day Jimmy. I've called and checked on the boys. I'm so sorry you're not here to celebrate this day with them, especially since it's Kev's first fathers day as well. You'd be happy to know that Kev and Dan are together and they know they can call me if they need to. You were an amazing dad and everyone knows that. I know they miss you, possibly more today than usual, but know that we are all looking out for them and will do our best to make sure they're okay. I miss you baby, so much, and always will. You will always be my soulmate, best friend and my once-in-a-lifetime love. I'm proud to be able to say I'm your wife...no distance will ever change that or the love we share. Be at peace and know that so many keep your memory strong and your love even stronger. It Is!

You're heavy in my thoughts as usual. I know you'll be looking down over your brother as he has his surgery today. We're all praying, staying positive and expecting the best outcome. We're still working on all the tributes to honor you and the incredible human being you've been. I've been the luckiest woman on earth to be able to share in your life. My heart still aches for you daily and I know when my time here is done, you'll be "lidding" and waiting with open arms to welcome me where you are. I will never stop loving you Jimmy, it's embedded deep in my heart and something I don't have the power to change, nor do I ever want to. Yours forever and beyond...it is. Your Lors

It's been 4 months to the day since you left. At times it feels like only yesterday, at other times it feels like an eternity since I saw your smile. You are so very deeply missed and loved. I think we all felt your presence at the Jim Jam on Sunday, it was an amazing tribute to your zest for life and love of music. You would have loved jamming with everyone, you'd have been in your element for sure. I hope you're sitting somewhere beautiful, looking down on all those who love and adore you and smiling that infamous smile of yours, happy that we're all joining together to celebrate you. I love you my Jimmy...always have, always will. You remain my one true love. It Is...as always, Your Lors

As most know, today Jim would've turned 51. It doesn't seem like a whole year since we celebrated Jim and Mark turning 50 with a party and music here at the house. A typical birthday for Jim....breakfast in bed, notes and messages throughout the day, a special dinner of his choice and gifts, usually to do with music, fishing or outdoor gear. Although Jim would say,"seriously babe, I really don't want anything", he'd spend the week before his birthday trying to get me to slip up and tell him what he was getting. Those memories make me smile. This is truly a difficult day for all of us as it was not a shared holiday, it was Jim's day. I loved making it all about him. I'm praying for peace for his mom and the rest of his family and friends as we struggle through this day. When you're sitting at dinner tonite, whether you're drinking water or wine, raise a glass to Jim and wish him Happy Birthday. I know that's what we'll be doing. Happy Birthday my Jimmy. You are so missed and loved. It Is.... Your Lors

As most of you already know, and for those of you who don't, Jim wanted to be an Organ donor. I honored that wish. I wanted to share some news that I received in a letter today from the Lion Eye Bank of Oregon. Thanks to Jim, 2 cornea transplants were performed and 2 people who were blind now have the wonderful gift of sight. I have the opportunity to send letters to the recipents through the eye bank to help donors/recipients remain anonymous if they wish. I plan on doing such and will post if I receive any response. How beautiful a gift...Jim's selflessness lives on. I love you Jimmy. It Is. Lors

As the holiday nears and we all try to just breath and get through it, please know that Jim would want everyone to enjoy gathering together, good times, good laughs and such. He rather despised the "commercialism" the holiday has become but loved seeing everyone and spending time with family and friends. Please take time to recognize those special moments that we're given each and every day. I miss Jim every moment but try to keep on keeping on knowing that's what he would want. It Is ~ Forever and Beyond.

I miss Jim every moment of every day. The outpouring of love and support I continue to receive is amazing. My strength comes from my memories and the realization of the unique once-in-a-lifetime kind of love that Jim and I shared. I'd give anything to have people know what that feels like. It made Jim and I so happy....in a contagious kind of way..and what a better world we'd live in if everyone could know that kind of love. "It Is"....always will be. Lors

I'm sure I'll be in a better frame of mind to write more at a later date. For now, as simply as I can put it, I am the most blessed person on Earth to have been given the time I had with Jim. My heart will never beat quite the same but I'm holding on to all the beauty and love that Jim not only gave me in life, but taught me and showed me. So many incredible places I've been and amazing things I've seen thanks to him....and to share those with him...well..that my friends is indescribable. Our love can not be duplicated or replaced. He will forever be the one true love of my lifetime. I'm thankful to have had with Jim the kind of love that most people search an eternity for but are never lucky enough to find. Thanks Jim...."It Is".
